Meet Pauley! Pauley is our resident raggedy old man. At first glance, poor Pauley seems like a hot mess - he always sounds stuffy because of his asthma, and he's almost always got his tongue poking out of his mouth. Underneath his goofy appearance, though, Pauley is a total sweetheart. He just wants to love and be loved. Pauley is a sweet, laid-back guy who just wants a comfy bed or lap to snooze on. When we let everyone out, he either chooses to stay in bed, or comes to snuggle with us and get his ears rubbed. He loves scritches of all kinds and full-body pets. We know he's on cloud nine when his purrs are louder than his sniffles. He'll occasionally give a cat teaser or toy a lukewarm bat, but that's about as animated as he gets. <br/><br/>Pauley is missing most of his teeth (the reason for his constant bleps), but is otherwise in good health. He isn't on any medications. We give him wet food to supplement his dry food, which he loves. <br/><br/>Pauley does well with other cats and kittens, as long as they don't want to get in his face or bother him when he's trying to nap. We think he would be okay with very gentle children. He has not been tested with dogs. <br/><br/>Pauley is estimated to be about 5+ years old as of September 2024. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
