Patriot's Story
Patriot is part of the Kitty Keeper program!

Patriot is part of the Halo program!

Patriot is a super outgoing, friendly cat and Good Mews’s mascot! Because of his medical issues, he will have a tough time finding a forever home, but don’t feel sorry for him! He actually loves living at the shelter because he gets tons of attention from staff, volunteers and visitors. He also loves his cat friends and enjoys playing with some of the more active ones.

Patriot was adopted from Good Mews as a little kitten. Sadly his adopters let him go outside and he was hit by a car. Due to his injuries, he had to undergo surgery to repair his hip and amputate his tail. The accident left him with urine retention and fecal incontinence issues. His adopters could not take care of him, so he was returned.

Patriot will need an adopter who will be able to handle his medical needs. He tends to leave little “Patriot turds” around the shelter, which he cannot help, so we understand. He really is a wonderful cat so while at the shelter, be sure to seek him out and say hello! If you sit down beside him, he will probably jump in your lap for some snuggles.
