These beautiful kitties once had a loving owner who struggled with their own mental health. When that owner passed away, the entire feline family was left alone to fend for themselves until help arrived.<br/><br/>Patrick is an outgoing and charming guy, with the most adorable curious expression. He’ll march up and slide against his foster mom’s leg to demand a back scratch, then somersault toes over tail into a happy puddle on the floor. He does have a bit of a butt-head streak, though. He’ll ask for affection, get overstimulated and swatty three seconds later, and then go right back to flirty in the same breath. He’ll be a fantastic teacher in reading cats’ body language!<br/><br/>These sweet kitties thrive in the company of other cats and would do best in quiet homes. Despite the conditions they came from, they use their litter boxes and scratching posts faithfully. They can go home in pairs or as singles to homes with at least one other friendly feline.<br/><br/>They need patient, gentle adopters who are committed to continuing the slow, loving work of socialization. If you love a challenge and are willing to play the long game for a big reward, please consider taking a chance on one or more of these cats.
