Patrick's Story

Patrick is a friendly, active, and playful kitten who is looking for his forever home!

Patrick 6 months (dilute orange tabby bobtail)
and Robert also 6 months (orange tabby) are two male kittens who have been in a foster home together. Both boys are sweet and playful. They do well with people and other cats however they are a bit hesitant initially around dogs. These two boys are not necessarily bonded, however they would love the opportunity to have a built in buddy and playmate. We believe either could do okay as an only cat if they had a human who was home regularly.
FHV-1, or feline herpes, is one of the most common viral infections in cats. Its estimated that up to 97% of cats have been exposed to it sometime in their lives. These 4 boys have all been exposed and led to upper respiratory symptoms that were treated with antibiotics and is now dormant. However, symptoms can flare up during times of stress, illness, or significant change.
They can live long healthy lives despite being carriers for the virus. In many cases they are able to live with other fully vaccinated cats with no issues as well. Unfortunately applicants who have expressed interest in these cats to this point have passed. We would be glad to discuss their health needs and set up a meet and greet and provide more information before finalizing if you might be interested in meeting to see if either of these pairs could be great for you!
Please share and let's find these cats their forever homes!
