START was called to a local business, looking for help with a stray cat in their parking lot. We quickly realized that the cat had recently given birth. Finding the litter of kittens did not fare well so we had to wait until the babies were ready to follow their mother to the food source. Several weeks went by before spotting the little ones and then the frustration began. Being in an active parking lot, the kittens became very comfortable with climbing up inside the cars to avoid our trapping attempts. Born in mid July, 2025, the black and white trio made us work for their safety. Aptly named, Patience evaded rescue for a full week, in and out of car engines and under car hoods. What a relief when the ordeal was finally over and she was brought safely indoors. She loves to be held which really calms her.<br/><br/><br/>Patience is vaccinated, altered, FeLV/FIV tested negative and microchipped.
