Patches's Story

Patches came into our yard along with her buddy/ sister? I call Toonces, In July of 2024 . They were side by side and looked scared . Patches had little bags under her eyes and a worried look it was the saddest face I ever saw . My hubby and I were talking to them and got them some water. The next day I picked up some cat treats and put some out. Patches became friendly very quickly Toonces was still a bit scared and like to roam around . Patches stayed in our yard and played and greeted us when we returned home from work. As winter approached I decided to shelter her on our enclosed patio and bought a bed toys a warming mat and flea treatment. She would come outside with me and stay in the yard. In February she was out and didn't come back until morning. 2 months later she had 3 little kittens all girls. My friend introduced me to pawsitive change Rescue. Patches is a sweetheart and a good girl. She was such a good and loving mom to her baby girls and they love her so much. She likes salmon pate and loves to play with her mouse on a stick toy. She has not been exposed to children and may need some time to warm up. She loves to be hand fed treats . I believe Patch would be best in a home without small children, shes not a big fan of the little ones, teenagers are ok. She may even prefer a single person or a couple without kids . She likes to have all the attention . She also prefers to approach you rather than you come at her . She can be a purring lap cat with the right conditions.

Sterilized, UTD on vaccines, microchipped and dewormed.

Adoption fee $175

https://www.wagtopia.com/pages/petsearch?_ga=2.215647767.1603505908.1665401522-1056950824.1664243530#/search/org?id=2904504&page=1&name=Work+of+Heart+Animal+Rescue+
