Paste's Story

Paste – A TNR Gone “Wrong” (In the Best Way) 🖤🤍

Paste and her siblings were originally part of a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) project after choosing a spot near a busy road to call home.

The plan was simple: get them fixed and return them to the area so they could live safer lives.

But Paste had other plans.
While in our care, this sweet tuxedo girl decided that people aren’t so bad after all. In fact… she really enjoys head scratches, attention, and being doted on. Because of that, we just couldn’t send her back to the streets.

So this ear-tipped little lady is officially retiring from street life and looking for her very own people and a cozy place to call home.

Paste is estimated to be about 6 months old and is quite small for her age, which only adds to her adorable charm.

A couple notes:
🐾 In the photos and video her eye looks a little yucky — don’t worry, it has healed perfectly! We’ll be working on getting updated pictures and videos soon.
🐾 Please ignore the messy cage 😹 These kitties were once feral and haven’t quite learned housekeeping or that letting humans reach into their space is okay yet!
🐾Paste had feline herpes as a kitten, so will always have it. Feline herpes is relatable to allergies in humans. She may never have a flair up, or may have a flair up when she's stressed. Most cats born outside have feline herpes. Most of the time it clears up on its own after just wiping their eye with a warm cloth. She has a small scar on her eye from this as a kitten, it does not phase Paste one bit.

Paste is learning that the indoor life is pretty great, and she’s ready to continue that journey with a loving family.

If you’d like to give this former street kitten the life she deserves, apply to adopt Paste here:
https://airtable.com/appmcMBCrn8jOmBZW/shrcTixpXAuS3a32e

Please share to help Paste find her people! 🐾
