Passion Fruit's Story
Passion Fruit hasn't had an easy start to life. She was found outside after a hurricane swept through our area, alone and suffering from a fractured femur. At only about four months old, this sweet girl had already endured more than any kitten should. We don't know what her life was like before her injury, but finding herself hurt, abandoned, and trying to survive after a storm couldn't have been easy.

Passion Fruit underwent surgery to repair her leg and has made a wonderful physical recovery. Emotionally, however, she's still learning that people can be kind. She is a shy, gentle soul who prefers to observe from a safe distance until she feels comfortable. With patience, she'll accept slow, gentle pets, and she absolutely adores Churu lickable treats. Those tasty treats have been the key to helping her build confidence.

Passion Fruit gets along well with other cats and enjoys playing with her feline friends, so a calm home with another friendly cat could help her continue to blossom. She'll need an adopter who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her progress at her own pace. She's still just a young cat with her whole life ahead of her, and we truly believe that in a patient, loving home she'll continue to come out of her shell.

Passion Fruit has already overcome so much in her young life. Now all she needs is someone willing to give her the time, patience, and love she's never truly had. If you're looking to make a real difference in the life of a deserving cat, Passion Fruit just might be the perfect addition to your family.
