Parrot's Story

Parrot is a really sweet boy who loves to cuddle and play. He will be on a lap as soon as one is available, but prefers to not be picked up. He really enjoys bird watching, playing on the cat trees, and playing with his friends. We do require that all pets in applicants home are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccine series, and heartworm prevention. Apply at www.pawsitivehope.org. In addition, please call your veterinarian to give approval for us to contact them about current pets medical care.

Vaccinations/Veterinary Care: Not only do we ensure that all animals are current on their vaccinations and heartworm/worm/flea prevention as well as spayed/neutered when they leave our care, we require that any existing animals in their adopted home are kept up to date in all of these areas as well. To help the adoption process move more quickly: Please email veterinary records to adoptions@pawsitivehope.org and type the name of the animal you wish to adopt in the subject line. In addition, call your current veterinarian and let them know that we may contact them for a reference.
