Parker and Posey - bonded siblings's Story

Siblings Parker and Posey are looking for a quiet, calm home. While they aren’t side-by-side at every moment, living in the same home will boost one another’s confidence, and they are the perfect playmates for one another. Adopting two kittens is always a wise choice, and you can add these two to your family knowing they are ideally matched. They need to be adopted together.

Sweetheart Posey loves to run and play until she is so tired that she plops down on the floor, panting. After a brief recharging period, she pops right back up to resume playtime. Posey would love to get a job testing cat toys, so she can use her special talent of quickly figuring out how playthings work. (Her foster home has a scratching toy where the balls were "hidden" inside it, and Posey swiftly found the balls and removed them from the holes.) However, if she can’t take on that toy-testing job (How would she even get herself to work at the toy factory every day?), she’ll settle for a life of luxury and fun in a quiet forever home (Loud noises startle both kittens.). We know they get along with other cats, but we are not sure how they’d do with dogs or children; any canines or kids in the home should be calm and quiet. Both Parker and Posey are friendly and loving, once they are comfortable with you.

Posey is a good eater and enjoys engaging with humans, too. When her foster mom walks toward or by her enclosure, Posey will scoot down and watch as if she is hunting. Posey is pretty self-sufficient as long as her more outgoing brother is nearby. Parker showers humans with affection and he is happy to be with her, too. Posey is shyer than her brother, but she enjoys playing and spending time with him immensely. Parker and Posey love to chase each other and wrestle. They will run all around the basement together, as if they're doing laps to train for the kitty Olympics. They love playing with balls and lasers.

Parker is the biggest sweetheart who will steal your heart before you realize he's snuck into it. He loves to push his nose against his foster mom’s face, as if he's kissing her. He is gentle and so happy to get attention. Parker, who was trapped along with his sister in a trailer park, started out with nothing, and he seems to appreciate every toy and every bit of food he gets.

Born in mid-July 2025, Parker and Posey are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. They are enthusiastic and exuberant with covering their litterbox deposits, so a big litter pan or tray to put beneath and/or a high-walled box would be a worthwhile investment for their future family. The most important thing is that they are great about using the litterbox, even if their technique is dramatic. Parker had a very high fever shortly after he arrived in his foster home, and we didn't think he was going to make it. A head tilt, which doesn't cause him any problems, seems to be a remnant of that illness from which he has recovered.

Questions?
