Paradise (50383/581)'s Story
female/spayed - 9 years - owner surrender

Paradise came to us when her owner moved away and left her and another kitty with family. In her new home there were dogs, and Paradise was not a fan. She landed here but was pretty stressed out. Once we got her vetting all updated, we moved her into a foster home so she could decompress and she was immediately happy. According to her foster mom she settled right in and seeks attention every time we come into the room. She chirps when we walk in and stands up for pets. She is a quiet kitty and seems to want to be nearby but not on top of us. She is using the litterbox perfectly and seems to prefer dry food to canned (we are offering her both). We jokingly call her twitch because she likes to look at the window for birds and she twitches her tail while she chirps at them. Paradise is just a nice, sweet, normal kitty.

Paradise is a small kitty (about 6lbs at last weighing) and previously lived with another cat who was a younger male. We think Paradise will be fine in a home with another cat, or as an only cat, but we’re pretty sure she prefers a home without dogs.
