Papi's Story

Meet our cat center's "Big" PAPI. PAPI is a handsome, affectionate all black male with the cutest patch of white fur sitting perfectly at the top center of his chest.
PAPI is a solid, big boy weighing in over 16 lbs. Our vet staff estimates PAPI to be between four and six years of age.

PAPI had been noticed wandering the neighborhood and although somewhat scared, it seemed clear he was used to humans. PAPI spent some time with one of our volunteers in foster care until space opened up. When PAPI was eventually brought to our cat center, it was determined he had already been neutered. So perhaps he may have had a home at some point in his past. PAPI is a "gentle giant" and "sweet at heart" kind of guy. He is calm, quiet, good-natured and enjoys one-on-one time with his human friends here at the cat center. PAPI gets more and more comfortable every day and needs a potential adopter to continue providing him with a nurturing and encouraging environment so he can flourish and thrive. PAPI is FIV positive which is no biggie as long as he lives the indoor-only life from now on, maintains a quality diet, and sees a vet for annual checkups. PAPI seeks a forever home with a cozy couch so he can lay next to that special person or family who is ready to give him all the love he so deserves.

Neutered, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV tested negative, FIV tested POSITIVE, Flea prevention applied and Microchipped.

If you'd like to meet PAPI, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptions/
