Papaya's Story

SWEET AS CAN BE MEET PAPAYA!

Some cats are born into cozy homes. Papaya? She started life in a warehouse, surviving alongside her sisters Anna Banana and Satsuma as a tiny feral kitten. Thankfully, she was rescued before life could get any harder, and with lots of patience, love, and snacks (lets be honest, mostly snacks ), she has grown into a beautiful and affectionate young lady.

At just over a year old, Papaya is a stunning patched tabby with mesmerizing green eyes, gorgeous swirls of tabby markings, and just enough orange sprinkled throughout her coat to remind everyone where she got her fruity name.

Papaya has come a long way from her feral beginnings. While she may take a little time to settle into a new home, once she feels comfortable, she is sweet, gentle, and ready to be someone's beloved companion. We think she would thrive in a home with another friendly cat, especially since she's always had feline friends by her side.

If you've ever wanted a cat who is equal parts beauty, sweetness, and resilience, Papaya checks every box.

Papaya
Female Patched Tabby
Just over 1 year old
Rescued as a feral warehouse kitten
Socialized by loving volunteers
Shy but Sweet, gentle personality
Would likely enjoy a feline companion
Ready for her forever family

Papaya has already done the hard part-surviving and learning to trust.
