Papaya's Story

Sweet Papaya made the journey all the way from Dominica with her sister and best friend, Mango! Like her sister, Papaya was born with differences in her back legs, but that doesn’t keep this little girl from enjoying life to the fullest. She can walk, run, climb, jump, and get into all the usual kitten mischief!

Papaya is the slightly more timid of the two sisters and often looks to confident Mango to show her the way. Once she knows everything is okay, her affectionate, playful personality comes shining through. She loves attention and has so much fun chasing wand toys, pouncing on toy mice and springs, and zooming through play tubes with her sister.

Papaya and Mango are truly devoted to one another and are a bonded pair who need to find their forever home together. They’re both great with kids and have so much love to give. Papaya may let Mango lead the adventures, but this sweet little girl will happily follow—especially if the destination involves toys, cuddles, or her favorite sister. ❤️

If you are interested in meeting Papaya and Mango, please complete an adoption application at queencitycatsvt.org.
