Papaya, born approximately 5/23/25, is your boy! With his soft grey fur and beautiful swirly tabby stripes, he’s as handsome as he is full of personality.

Papaya loves chasing spring toys, wrestling with his brother Guava, and zooming around the house in classic kitten fashion. When playtime’s over, he’s the first to curl up for a nap or make biscuits in your lap.

Papaya would thrive in a home with another kitten his age or a young, active adult cat who loves to play. He’s gentle enough for homes with children, and while he hasn’t met a dog yet, he should adjust just fine with proper introductions.

Papaya is full of love, energy, and charm — ready to bring joy and purrs to his forever home!

Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm.

Fluff Buddies's Adoption Policy
Adoption events are held at the Fair Oaks Petco (Madison at Hazel) on Saturdays from noon to 4pm. Please complete our online questionnaire. http://www.fluffbuddies.org/infoquestions.php Fluff Buddies is a 501(c)(3) non-profit group of dedicated volunteers. Our purpose is to provide shelter, food, medical care, and love to homeless felines until we find them loving, furever new homes. Our kitties are FeLV tested, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated, and microchipped. However, since the majority of our kitties are rescued from local high-kill shelters or 'from the streets', their backgrounds are unknown and we cannot guarantee the temperament or any unforeseen health problems that may arise with rescued animals. Our kitties are housed in foster homes in Sacramento County, California. Potential adopters are selected through an adoption screening process. There is a nominal adoption fee that goes towards the care of the kitties. We place to indoor only homes. No declawing tho some cats are already declawed when they come to us. We do not ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
