Panini's Story
Panini landed at the shelter with the evidence of her bad decision-making: three mismatched kittens. While she SHOULD have been spayed in her youth, Panini thankfully has been a great mom to her little crotch goblins. She’s a total pushover with them, letting them continue to nurse long after they were weaned.

In her foster home, Panini has been a FIERCE protector of her kids, even making the resident pit bull cower in fear when Panini thought he got too close to the kittens. She’s a mama bear, to be sure. Given her protective spirit, we have not introduced her to cats and dogs. But as the saying goes, distance makes the heart grow fonder, so she might adapt to a multi-pet home once the kids fly the nest.

Panini is a chill, laidback companion with humans. She loves bird-watching from the windowsill and keeping tabs on the neighbors. While she’s not much of a lap cat, she loves talking to her humans and sitting close by. Give her a warm bed, and she will fall head-over-heels for you.
