Panda (lapcat)

Panda, this wonderful under 1 year old black and white male panda look-alike, was rescued off the streets of Washington DC. Obviously abandoned. Thank God a kind cat loving good Samaritan rescued him and got him all vetted and ready for his next adventure.

Panda is a very affectionate boy with a heart of gold! Like his namesake, he has a shy side, and will do best in a home with gentle, patient owners who will let him open up at his own pace, but it is already clear that he has a lot of love to give. Within 24 hours in his foster home, he was giving headbutts, making muffins, and giving tiny polite licks to ask for more pets. Within 72 hours, it became clear that he is a total lap cat and a cuddlebug!

He uses the litter box like a gentleman and loves when you keep him company while he eats. Like most cats, he appreciates having a hiding spot where he can retreat and feel safe in a new environment, but he absolutely melts once he starts getting good chin scratches and butt pats!

Panda has so much love to bring to his new home, and we can't wait for him to meet his forever family!

Fostered in Washington DC
