Panda's Story
Panda was rescued with her siblings off the streets as kittens, and although they're still a little nervous about humans, they've been making steady progress opening up here at Animal Haven. Panda is shy, but seems curious about humans so we're hopeful that a little extra attention will help her build confidence around humans and come out of her shell.

Sadly, we discovered that Panda was FIV+, and her sibling, Pepper, is not. FIV+ cats still live full and normal lives despite their diagnosis, especially when kept indoors! FIV is only contagious to other cats, generally through deep bite wounds, so, for now, Panda and Pepper are staying together.

We encourage you to do your own research but feel free to reach out to Animal Haven for more information on Panda!
