If you thought I was a feral cat and not a teddy bear, come on!!<br/>Sure I've been around the block and I've seen some stuff, but I'm turning over a new leaf! Someone finally paid attention to me and looked past my seemingly tough exterior and realized I'm just a big old squishy cutie pie! I'm tired of the rabble rousin' that comes with livin' life outside. I'm ready to be a housecat! I want pets and love! I want a bowl full of kitty food and a full belly! <br/>I'm really friendly with people and other cats, but once I get to know you I'm a just a big teddy bear! <br/>I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse..come see me at PetSmart in Schererville and if we hit it off, maybe you can take me home! I have my own "room" at the PetSmart and we can visit! I like other kitties, so If you already have a friend we should be able to get along (with the proper introduction period). Older kids are probably fine, but not sure about dogs though.If you're looking for your first kitty or even your second or third, tell the volunteers from the rescue you want to adopt me!! ! Volunteers are there every Saturday from 12pm- 4pm to answer any questions! Also, please fill out an adoption application that can be found online at TreasuredFriendsRescue.org or follow the link from our profile at Petfinder (scroll down to the bottom of the page for the application link) <br/><br/>****************************************<br/>Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't give a chance, a helping hand at getting a forever home. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months. We are always here to help with any questions Please, only apply if you are an experienced cat owner or are willing to provide patience and good forever home. <br/>Thank you!
