Paka's Story

Paka Approximate Birthdate 3.12.2026
DSH, Female, Tuxedo
Good with: Cats Dogs Other animals Older Children
Hey everyone, I'm Paka! My name means cat in African-Swahili! I have been described as a chaos gremlin with a heart of gold. I am an energetic, delightfully weird, veggie-thief who believes life is best lived at full speed. I can be vocal while playing and love to curl up with my humans whenever I slow down. Truthfully, I may have a mild case of FOMO (fear of missing out) as I always want to be right where the action is. My favorite toys include springs, wool balls, veggies left out on the counter, and wand toys. I get along well with the other fosters, resident cats as well as the dog! I would do best in a home that will embrace my fun-loving, chaos gremlin nature and is willing to adopt more than one kitten or already has a play friend at home. I would love to be adopted with one of my foster siblings. Check them out! (Piscin, Neko, Macka, Furby, Dunk-A-Roo, Bop-It, Tamagotchi). I am fixed, up to date on all vaccines, can free feed and am litter box trained.
**All Shelter to Home animals are fully vetted per their age. We believe in pediatric spay and neuter. All animals will be spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV or heartworm, given age-appropriate boosters and rabies, dewormed, flea treated, and anything extra that is needed to give this animal a wonderful forever life in a permanent home. Adoption fees are usually $50 for cats and between $150-$250 for dogs, unless the pet is sponsored or we are running a promotion. Please visit our website at sheltertohome.com for information on our adoption process.**
