Paco's Story
Paco is a 3 year old tabby and white male who has survived his whole life on the streets in Kenosha. He bares a few scars from the street life which includes testing positive for FIV. (FIV is a feline virus and is similar to human HIV in that it attacks the immune system, leading to immune suppression over time. Despite this, many cats remain asymptomatic and live normal lifespans when potential secondary infections are managed.) Paco is healthy after fully recovering from upper respiratory infections that were a result of living outside in the cold winter months before his rescue. He also underwent extensive dental work to manage his broken canines from his years of rough living. He is all muscle at 13 pounds and is so very grateful to be safe, cared for and loved in his foster home. Paco is a very chill, relaxed guy who enjoys pets, back scratches, cuddles, kisses, watching the birds out the windows, and just being a regular buddy to keep you company. He gets along fine with the other calm cats in his foster home and generally just likes to be by the humans rather than mix with the household cats. He is ready and waiting for his forever home to settle and enjoy the rest of his long life in the comfort and safety of indoor living. He’s a super sweet guy… you must meet him.
