Ozzy's Story

Meet Ozzy – A Big Boy with an Even Bigger Heart

Ozzy is a 4-year-old polydactyl sweetheart with some truly unique features—even his back paws have dew claws! He’s a large, gentle guy with a tender soul who’s looking for his forever loving home.

His foster is absolutely smitten but, with a full house already, can’t keep him—though she says he’s one of the most special cats she’s ever met in 35 years of rescue.

Ozzy is incredibly affectionate and human-focused. He’ll melt your heart with his little woebegone meows when it’s time for breakfast or dinner—or when he just wants a cuddle. He’s still learning how to play like a kitten, but he’s slowly coming out of his shell and adores interactive toys like birdie-on-a-stick.

He’s a bit shy and startles easily, but he’s never aggressive—even when frightened or picked up. Just a little growl and hiss, but no scratching or biting. He improves every day with love and patience.

And be warned: bathroom privacy will be a thing of the past. Ozzy is a loyal shadow, always by your side.

Ozzy is neutered, and up to date with his shots. Ozzy is FeLV-negative but FIV-positive. FIV is an immune suppression condition similar to human HIV. It is only transmitted between cats through deep bite wounds.

If interested in meeting Ozzy or any of the other cats or kittens please fill out a questionnaire and we will get back to you in no time! All medical records are given to the adopters and eventual pre-existing conditions disclosed at the time of the first visit.
