Ozzy

Ozzy was found wandering as a stray in Urbana when he was only four weeks old, way too young to be on his own. He was brought to Paws so he could be cared for until a permanent home is found for him. He was very shy, and he went into foster care with Annie for a while, to try to bring him out of his shell. It definitely helped him to have her around, but she was adopted not long after they came back to the shelter. We had pretty much resigned ourselves to Ozzy being perpetually shy, but then very suddenly he did a complete turnaround, and is now as sweet and outgoing as the next guy! It's really remarkable. I've been around cats my whole life and have never seen such a dramatic transformation. I actually thought they had snuck another black cat in his room! He's ready to be adopted, so stop by and meet this sweet young cat! Put in an application to adopt him and hopefully one of his friends to keep him company.
