Owen Wilson's Story
Meet Owen!

Owen is an older kitten (about 8-9 months) who loves to be everywhere you are. He is curious, silly, outgoing, and very playful. He’ll happily run up to you, rub against your legs, roll over repeatedly, and ask for all the pets. He is a photogenic fellow, likely because of his cute face and pink lips. Bonus cuteness: Owen has mismatched black and pink toe beans.

Owen was rescued from a trailer park with his brother Vince (named after Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughn) and another kitten their age, Benji. The three of them are the very best of friends and spend their days playing together. (All three of them are still waiting for a family and it would be incredible if at least two of them could be adopted together.)

Owen was previously adopted but returned after about a month because he has some personal-space boundaries. He does not like faces close to his own, and when being picked up, he must be held facing outward. Because of this, Owen would do best in an adult-only home with someone who understands and respects cats with boundaries. Owen is incredibly loving and affectionate. He craves attention and companionship and has so much love to give. Owen is still very deserving of a home!

Owen is considered a behavioral-needs cat, but his needs are simple: patience, respect, and someone willing to meet him where he’s comfortable. In return, you’ll get a devoted companion who wants to be by your side.

If you’re interested in meeting or adopting Owen, please email ferallovetnr@gmail.com to schedule a meet-and-greet or fill out an application.
