Hi! I'm Otis! I am one big "chonk" of love! I was found outside as a stray and brought indoors just as the weather turned cold. I am shy, but love to be around people. I do like a good hiding place too, so I need a patient adopter who will give me my space. I would do best in a home with another cat to be a playmate and companion. Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership, Inc - ARPO's Adoption Policy

ARPO does not have a shelter or physical location. All pets are in foster care. Potential adopters must fill out the Adoption Application. An phone or e-mail interview and home visit are required and does not guarantee adoption. We use these as a tool to make a match for both the adoptive family and the pet. Because home visits are done by a member of our all volunteer staff, we limit this to a 50 mile radius of Indianapolis. Lastly, before taking your new companion, a contract must be signed, including the provision that the adopter will provide quality food, shelter, and medical care.
