Oswald McNubs (missing front limbs)'s Story

Ozzie is a gentle, easygoing soul with a heart full of love and a talent for relaxation, but don’t let his laid-back nature fool you. He still has a curious, adventurous side and loves exploring his world. Ozzie can climb into cat trees, hop up on the bed or couch, and happily play with toys, proving he’s just as much a cat as any other.

Ozzie was born with a congenital deformity and is missing his front legs and half of his tail, but he has adapted amazingly well and gets around with confidence. He’s resourceful, resilient, and perfectly capable of enjoying all the comforts of home. He needs a low-sided litter box and will sometimes utilize accessibility stairs, but he does not require a significant amount of accommodations.

Oswald is incredibly sweet and kind, enjoying quiet companionship and being close to his people. When Ozzie wants to play or needs you to stop doing something, he may give a soft finger nibble to get your attention. It’s simply how he communicates since he can’t swat or tap like other cats. Once you learn his cues, it becomes part of his endearing personality.

This one-of-a-kind boy is looking for a loving family who will appreciate both his gentle, cuddly side and his adventurous spirit. If you’re ready to welcome a truly special cat into your life, Oswald McNubs is ready to meet you.

Est. DOB September 2018, he is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV and FeLV.
A grade 3 (of 6) heart murmur was heard on exam, but he displays no signs of heart disease.

Adopters will also receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our pet store partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and/or All Paws).

Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application.

Apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFR/Cat
