Super playful and kind, he is a lover all the way. A lap cat and a living doll, he just loves his human. Oscar trusts his human with his life.<br/><br/>Oscar had the misfortune of getting hit by a car when his owner accidentally left the door open and he ventured outside. Not knowing the dangers of cars and streets, Oscar was hit by a car. His front, right leg was crushed. The only option was to amputate it.<br/><br/>The lovely Spirit that this happy and content lad is, he is no worse for wear. He has adapted wonderfully well and jumps, runs and plays like other cats.<br/><br/>The second misfortune for this gentle Soul is his mom had to leave the country and she cannot take him with her.<br/><br/>This beauty is sooooo affectionate and loving. He adores being doted on. <br/><br/>Highly intelligent, he forms a very strong bond with his family. He loves interacting and engaging with you in conversation and in play. Oscar is as human a cat as a cat can be. <br/><br/>This lap cat will cuddle next to you in bed or while watching tv.<br/><br/>As you can see in the video, he is exceptional with children (as long as they are kind, calm and respectful of him e.g. no pulling tails or picking him up against his will). He can play with them all day. He will even take part in their activities with them (see him helping the little girl in the video).<br/><br/>Though Oscar is great with other kind and non-intimidating cats, he is also equally fine on his own. He plays well on his own and thoroughly enjoys chasing balls, springs and playing with string or dangly toys with his human family. <br/><br/>This handsome boy likes to look out the window to check out what the birds and squirrels are up to so a cat’s eye view of the great outdoors would be most appreciated.<br/><br/>IDEAL HOME ENVIRONMENT: Oscar is ideally suited to any loving, interactive home with or without children, with or without another kind cat.<br/><br/>Please email us at ask@alicesONEderland.com to request an adoption application for Oscar the Gentle.
