Luckily, we found him—intact and in need of a second chance. With feral colonies nearby, we knew he couldn’t be left out again, so we brought him in.<br/><br/>Since recovering, Oscar has settled into life as an indoor cat (with possible supervised outdoor privileges). He seems content and independent, but don’t let his cool demeanor fool you—he’s quietly loyal and will curl up next to you at night.<br/><br/>Oscar would likely do best as a solo pet or in a home with calm, confident dogs. He’s not a fan of other cats—especially the nervous ones—as he’s still learning how to “cat.” He loves to chase toys (and sometimes other cats, which doesn’t go over well here), so a home where he can burn off that playful energy would be ideal.<br/><br/>His perfect match? Someone who works from home or enjoys quiet companionship. He’s not needy, but he likes to be near his person.
