Orzo's Story

Meet Orzo — The Teeniest, Tastiest Little Noodle of Chaos!
(Adoption Special: Comes With Zero Actual Pasta, But 100% Sauce!)

If you’ve ever wished your pasta could think for itself… and then immediately regret that thought… allow us to introduce Orzo! This smart, petite little noodle has big personality energy and absolutely no hesitation about using it.

Orzo is the smallest in her litter, but don’t let her size fool you—she’s basically the espresso shot of kittens: tiny, adorable, and capable of powering feats of mischief that defy science. She watches her sister Ravioli escape what should be a kitten-proof fortress exactly one time… and then she’s like, “Ah yes, I, too, shall do this now.”

She’s a busybody, a copycat prodigy, and a laser-pointer assassin with a perfect “zoom, zoom, murder” technique. Springs? She chases those like she’s auditioning for Pasta Olympics.

When she’s not getting into trouble, Orzo becomes a soft, warm noodle in a cuddle puddle with her siblings. She doesn’t seek out human attention as much as some kittens, but she’s totally fine being held, pet, and adored. She’s social, sweet, and has a premium purr motor that activates with minimal encouragement.

Orzo is also a brave little starch—she gets along great with dogs, other cats, and kids, and would absolutely thrive in a playful, high-energy home. She could even be harness and leash trained! (Imagine: pasta… on a walk.)

Orzo’s Recipe for the Perfect Home:
• Must have a young, playful kitten buddy — bonus points if it’s her sister Ziti or Ravioli
• Lots of toys, tunnels, and things she can pretend she wasn’t supposed to climb
• Humans who enjoy being entertained
• Treats (she will push her siblings aside for them — there is no shame in this noodle)

Come meet Orzo and add a little pasta-powered joy (and just a hint of chaos) to your home!

*Please note that most of our kitties will only be adopted out in pairs or to a home with an existing cat or furry companion--depending upon what is best for them.

If you are interested in adopting Orzo, you can find our Adoption Application and more information about our adoption process at http://www.kittycrusaide.org/adopt.

Kitty CrusAIDe's Adoption Policy
All of our adoptable pets will be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations, including rabies if applicable, de-wormed, and microchipped, PRIOR to adoption. Our adoption fee is $150 for a single kitten and $225 for a pair of kittens. If you find a feline friend that you'd be interested in learning more about please visit our website at www.kittycrusaide.org to submit an application. All of our animals are in private foster homes so our adoption process is 100% online. First your application will be screened and a short 15-20 minute phone interview will take place. Then one or several virtual meet & greets will be set up to introduce you to kittens that you're interested in and we feel may be a good fit for your home. A virtual home check will take place before bringing your kitten(s) home to ensure everything is safe and set-up for them. Finally, you'll bring home your new best friend! Our cats/kittens are not "first come, first serve" and forever homes are always chosen based on the best fit for each animal.
