Meet Orson! He’s an incredibly sweet, adorable, orange and white big kitty with a beautiful long coat, gorgeous markings, super cute paws and a fluffy tail! He is full of energy and loves to play with every toy imaginable. He is great with the other cats in his foster home. In addition, he is a dream in a car, no small feat for a feline. As charming and lovable as they come, you will fall in love instantly with this personality-plus fluffball! <br/><br/>Orson is a "leftover" summer kitten with a digestive condition that requires daily medication at a cost of approx. $13/mo. We have held him back from adoption until we made sure he was healthy. He has been thoroughly worked up medically and is now perfectly managed on the medication, and is a normal happy playful kitty in every way. His medication Cisapride is used in cats as a gastrointestinal (GI) motility stimulant. It helps to increase the smooth muscle contractions in the stomach and intestines, moving food and waste materials through the digestive tract more effectively. Right now he is also on a sensitive stomach kitten food, but he may be able to transition off of that as he matures into an adult. <br/><br/>Orson's approximate date of birth is 4-27-25, and his adoption fee of $100 includes: vet exams, Feleuk/FIV test, FVRCP (distemper combo) vaccinations, rabies vaccination, dewormings, microchip and neuter, in addition to his GI workup and specialty consultations. In consideration of his future medication expense, we have reduced his normal adoption fee by half, and if you adopt him we will pay for his medication for the first year. <br/><br/>So this Special kitty is looking for a Special person or family that has the nature and the means to take extra good care of him, making sure he gets his daily medication and regular annual or semi-annual vet checkups. In return, he will reward you in so many ways with his love and affection. We will be happy to have your vet talk to our vet and will pass along all of his prior medical and testing records.
