Orion's Story

💙 Special Needs Kitty Looking for a Hero Foster or Adopter 💙

Meet this incredible 7-month-old kitty who’s ready to steal your heart.
He is playful, curious, and unbelievably sweet, with a love for exploring and engaging with people. Despite his young age, he’s already shown how resilient and loving he can be.

Orion was born with a condition pectus excavatum, a congenital chest wall deformity where the breastbone sinks inward, reducing space for the heart and lungs. His condition causes decreased lung capacity, as his chest cavity is smaller than normal. His condition has not affected his personality, behavior or quality of life, but as he grows there is a chance his condition will worsen, causing him discomfort, breathing issues and pain. He will likely have a shorter life than we’d like. Treatment is not an option so Orion has to monitored closely for any new symptoms.

Orion gets along well with other cats and would be good with children old enough to understand how to gently carry and handle a cat. He has not been around dogs.

With his medical condition we are seeing a long term foster or adopter who is comfortable caring for his long term needs.

Orion deserves love, comfort, a safe home and someone who can help him thrive while receiving the care he needs. If you have experience, resources, or even just a big heart and willingness to help, you could change his life.
