Orianna's Story
Orianna’s name comes from the Latin for gold, and she’s just that—a little treasure. She has the sweetest disposition, so chill and content, plus a healthy dose of kitten play energy; she loves toys of all kinds, from balls and catnip to mice and wands. If she’s not playing, you’ll find her curled up in a cat bed nearby—unless there’s a laptop around, which is the clearly preferable resting place.

Ori has a relaxed bravery. She was the first of her group to come out of hiding and to accept pets, and she’s the last to duck away if something loud or startling happens. Trouble found her at some point in the past—she came into the shelter with a break at the tip of her tail that gives her a bit of a rakish air—but even that experience wasn’t enough to shake her zen.

Don’t be mislead by her chill, though; Ori has all the makings of a little star. She’s a brown tabby with an unusual red-orange undertone, and her fur is strikingly soft. She has a long, lean build but a tiny little nose and paws. Her eyes are big and gloriously golden, and they have an adorably sleepy look, with softly downturned corners.

Orianna is a playful, easygoing little sweetheart. If a russet beauty of a kitten who’s 70% the chillest little girl and 30% a zippy little play beast sounds like your thing, Ori may be the perfect companion for you.

Estimated date of birth July 2024
---
All of our kittens are currently in Foster Homes. They are not at our facility. Adoption counselors can arrange for you to meet the kittens once your application is approved. Kittens will be pre-adopted pending spay/neuter and may not be available for a few weeks.
Deposits will only be accepted once an application has been approved and meetings have taken place.
Deposits made PRIOR to approval are not refundable and will NOT hold a kitty for you. Kittens through 6 months $125 or 2 for $200; Kitties over 6 months $100 or 2 for $150.
---
Our Adoptable Kittens ARE NOT FERAL. We take them from the streets at a young age, and some are feral at the time of rescue. However, we spend many hours taming, socializing, and acclimating them to indoor life as a pet cat. They are currently friendly, healthy, and playful kittens who are just waiting for their special someone to take them home. All of our kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for FeLV/FIV, vaccinated against Distemper, and treated for fleas and other parasites.
---
Adoption App:
http://www.focusonferals.org/adopt/adoption-application/
