He was clearly someone's beloved pet before ending up on the harsh streets, which left him with a slightly shortened tail. Today, he loves treats, catnip, getting chin scratches, and is a calm and loving cat. While he is a very chill cat, he occasionally shows his playful side by playing with a strip of felt on a stick toy.<br/><br/>We believe he is the father of Sweet Sammy, also available for adoption, and the mate to another cat who sadly passed away from cardiac-related issues. Once fiercely protective of his son while living outside, Potato has since relaxed and now enjoys spending his days just lounging and eating! He has become a heavier boy than when he first arrived, so while free-feeding is possible, it may not be ideal for his health.<br/><br/>This Potato is very independent, making him an ideal companion for someone who works long hours.
