Oreo's Story

Oreo is an affectionate and playful kitty looking for her forever cuddle buddy. She loves chasing the ball on her circle track toy and playing with springs, then curling up on a cozy blanket—or your lap—for a nap. If you work from home, she'll happily keep you company by snoozing nearby. Oreo had stomatitis, so all her teeth were removed, but she's now pain-free and thriving! She's also FIV positive—FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) affects a cat's immune system, but many FIV+ cats live long, healthy lives with regular care and a stress-free indoor home. Oreo does best as an only cat or with other gentle, non-aggressive kitties. She's full of love and ready to be someone's loyal little companion. Oreo is spayed, current on shots, and microchipped. Paws For Life NC Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

To adopt one of our pets you will need to fill out an application, which can be found on our website at https://pawsforlifenc.org on the adoptable dogs and adoptable cats pages. Someone will get in touch with you after you fill out your application. Our fee includes - Spay/Neuter Surgery, Microchip, Testing for Felv/FIV (cats), testing and treatment for Heartworm (dogs), age appropriate vaccines. Our adoption fee: Cats/Kittens - $125.00 or two for $225.00, Cats 1 year and older $85 Dogs - Six months and older $300 Puppies - Six months and younger $325 Questions? please email info@pawsforlifenc.org Dogs and cats are cared for in our volunteers’ foster homes in the local area. Available-for-adoption dogs and cats are listed on our website. Each weekend we host in-person events. To find out which pets will be at an event and the location, please follow us on Facebook.
