Oreo is an angel! She loves attention and gives so much love with all her heart! And she wants just as much love back too! Being combed is one of her favorite joys in life, along with Fancy Feast canned pate food! With a long coat like hers loving the comb is a great thing! This darling sweet girl is a talker and will let you know her desires with gentle head butts. Cat scratchers or a nice cat tree is a must as she is a professional at keeping her nails trimmed and sharp. There is a lot of killing of toy mice to be done! Due to past trauma, she doesn’t like being picked up and no fast hand movements above or near her head. If she doesn’t like something she will give a warning nibble, but never bites! Slow and steady wins the race with her. She does not like other cats but is good with the calm friendly dog in her foster home. She will need a quieter home with no young children. Oreo does love cuddling in your lap, a soft bed to lounge, and gentle scritches and scratches. Being around 8 years old sunbathing in the yard would be very appreciated and loved by her. Please check individual listings for special adoption fees. <br/>CCCR provides a 10-day trial placement period during which time the adopted cat can be returned, for any reason, for a full refund.
