Oreo's Story
Oreo was noticed limping terribly by a kind woman in Woodside who wanted to help him. She contacted Sonya, who brought a humane trap to catch him, and the vet cleaned up his injured front leg. It was so badly bitten by another cat that he could have lost his leg, had he not been treated. He was so wild when we first caught him that the vet had to give him 3 times the amount of sedative that they would normally use, just to be able to examine him. <br/>Now, though, he purrs and demands to be rubbed on the head and chin. He still hisses sometimes when I enter a room, but immediately falls on his side, waiting to be petted. Oreo has come a long way this past month, won't somebody come fall in love with him so he can get all the attention he deserves?
