She is brave in new settings and happily seeks attention from anyone who will give it. She's sort of a velcro cat- always by your side just in case yo need her! Our friendly girl loves treats, warm places, and a big window to watch the birds from. She has not been tested with other pets but with her laid back, lovable purr-sonality, we think she would do fine. Oregon is looking for a home where she can spend all 10 lives happy, fed, and next to you each step of the way. About Ten Lives: Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.

We ask all potential adopters to complete an adoption application. A veterinary reference and proof of home ownership OR landlords approval is required. After everything rescue cats have been through, our top priority is placing them into the best matched forever homes. We treat each cat as an individual and assess potential adopters based on that cat’s needs.
