Optikk's Story

Optikk is a small, black kitten with a big name and an even bigger personality. He is a bundle of pure, unadulterated chaos and charm, a tiny shadow with two bright, gold-flecked eyes that reflect his perpetually surprised and delighted view of the world. His humor is physical and slapstick, his lovable nature is expressed through his deep, rumbling purr, and his courage is an absolute, unshakable belief in his own invincibility. Humane Society of Adams County Inc.'s Adoption Policy

It is the mission of HSAC to reduce pet overpopulation and increase public awareness of the humane treatment of animals. To this end, HSAC will ensure that all animals adopted through this organization will be sterilized and fully vetted prior to adoption, or will be contractually required to be sterilized and fully vetted within a set amount of time following adoption (as in the case of animals too young for certain procedures at the time of adoption). HSAC has also created a clause in every adoption agreement that animals may be returned to HSAC for any reason if the adopter feels they can no longer keep the animal.
