Everyone, meet Opossum -- a beautiful, gentle young kitty who has already been through far more than any cat should. She finally has a safe, cozy space all to herself in her foster's home - the perfect place to decompress and feel secure. Opossum was left on our doorstep in a carrier -- in the pouring rain - after being found outside a business. She's absolutely terrified, but never aggressive. She simply cowers when touched, unsure if she's safe. Opossum needs time, patience, and a gentle heart who will give her space to open up on her terms. Because she's FeLV positive, she'll need to be the only cat, live with other FeLV cats, or have her own separate space. Please reach out if you'd like to add Opossum to your family!
