Opie's Story
Opie is a big orange boy with an even bigger heart. He’s on the shy side and can be a little skittish at first, but he’s incredibly sweet once he feels safe. Opie loves to “talk” and will happily soak up affection when he trusts you — he just needs someone patient who’s willing to give him the time and reassurance he deserves.

He previously lived with a senior dog and did amazing and he also does very well with other cats. Opie is still adjusting to life as an indoor companion after being used to the outdoors, so he’ll do best in a calm home that lets him settle in at his own pace.

Opie is FIV+, but he can live a long, happy life and coexist safely with other friendly cats. With the right person, Opie will be a loyal, loving companion who truly blossoms once he knows he’s safe and home.
