Ophelia's Story
Ophelia - Spayed Female. Approximate DOB is 5/1/2023. Ophelia is current on her vaccines and has been tested for Feline Aids (FIV) and Feline Leukemia (FELV) and is Negative. Ophelia is a SH Black Tuxedo.

Ophelia was rescued from a feral colony living behind an apartment complex in the local community. One cold night, she walked out of a shelter and did a big stretch upon hearing someone coming. Once she heard the food, she walked right up and allowed herself to be picked up and put in a carrier.

Ophelia is a bit shy to start off, but has so much love to give. She will come to the front of her cage to watch you or get treats. Once she is comfortable, she will lean and rub into your hand once you start petting her, and that’s when the purrs come out. She reaches out and touches your head as well !! She has never minded other cats and would likely do well with a proper introduction She is so very gentle and loves attention!! Ophelia would surely love to have her very own home.

She will need time to adjust to a new family and slow introductions to other pets. If you would like to meet Ophelia, or any of our other adoptable cats and kittens, please complete a pre-adoption application on our website: www.loveastraycat.com.
