Opal's Story

She must be adopted with another cat or kitten. OR you MUST have a playful, friendly cat it kitten. You MUST live approx. an hour driving distance of Huntington. No exceptions will be made.

Opal is a gentle, loving soul who is impossible not to fall in love with. She absolutely adores her people and wants to be part of everything—whether that’s napping on you, gazing up at you with adoring eyes, being carried around the house, or even hopping onto your lap while you’re trying to use the bathroom!

Rescued from the outside, with another 30 cats, Opal didn’t receive the individual attention she deserved, and now she’s happily making up for lost time by showering her humans with affection. She thrives in a home where her people are around more often than not, and will make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a truly devoted kitty.

Opal would love a home with a younger, playful cat or kitten, as she plays wonderfully with her kitten foster sibling. She’s also great with children as young as five.

Even has a Siamese, Opal is not a vocal cat—she’s only been heard meowing a handful of times in her foster home, when she knows dinner is on the way!

If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate cat who wants to be your constant companion, Opal is the perfect match.
She is as beautiful on the outside as in the inside. She is extremely affectionate, she will fall asleep wherever she will fit. Shoulders, lap, head, in your hands. Loves to sit on your shoulder and purrs so loud that it melts your heart.

All of our cats and kittens are from Massachusetts. We believe strongly in rescuing our cats locally. Because we are small organization, We get to know each, individual cat's personality.

All of our cats have been spayed/ neutered, micro chipped, combo tested for disease, given revolution to protect against fleas, ticks and heartworm. They have been given both an oral dewormer and a topical dewormer.
We use a sustainable, dust free, clay free clumpable litter and feed canned food in the morning and at night and a high protein dry food.
Let us help you find your perfect furry family member.
