they must pass the adoption application , background check and home / vet check. also meet and greets with all family members including pets.We do foster to adopt for 1 week. If it is the perfect fit we then have them sign adoption contract.

Our Mission

Unlike shelters OHAR is a foster based rescue. We take in animals during crisis such as , owner is in hospital, domestic violence cases, medically needy case , owner foreclosed on etc. We assist with the community by providing vet care and food when we are able. We also assist in getting ESA digs paired up with military ,LE...
