Meet Opal- a true gem ready to find her forever family! This little lady is a stylish tuxedo cat, with white paws, chest, and belly. She also has beautiful white whiskers that compliment her big golden eyes. At just over a year old, Opal is blossoming into her personality. She loves head scratches, kneading, cheek rubs, and is learning to love snuggling on your legs. And also purrs easily! <br/><br/>Opal likes to play and really enjoys chasing strings and feather wands, but she really gets going pouncing on her small mice toys. Much of her time is spent on her cat perch by the window watching birds, squirrels, and falling snowflakes. When she's done playing and has worked up an appetite, Opal loves to snack on a Churu treat and will lick it off your fingers. In terms of food, she likes dry kibble and a fresh bowl of water! <br/><br/>Opal is very clean and spends a lot of time grooming, so she's always ready for a black-tie event! She uses the litter box perfectly. <br/><br/>While she hasn't been introduced to other pets or kids, Opal is young, playful and seeks out interaction with caregivers. We rely solely on fostering, volunteers, donations, and adoption fees. An adoption fee of $175.00 must be paid at the time of adoption by either cash or check. All of our adoptable animals are assessed in foster homes, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed or neutered and tested for FeLV/FIV. Medical records will be released with the adopted pet.
