Opal's Story

Opal’s journey hasn’t been easy, but she’s ready to finally find a home that’s all about her. She was found at a local cat colony, where a kind feeder noticed she was incredibly friendly. When we brought her in, we discovered she was pregnant, despite being such a petite little girl.

Opal went on to give birth to four beautiful tuxedo kittens, all of whom have found their forever homes. Now it’s Opal’s turn to be loved and spoiled!

She is a sweet, affectionate, and playful girl who loves attention. Opal is a lap cat through and through, purrs constantly, and is delightfully chatty — she loves “talking” to her humans. She does not do well with meet-and-greets, but once she’s in a quiet, loving home, it doesn’t take her long to warm up. She also gets along well with other cats, making her an easy fit in a multi-cat household.

At just 1–2 years old, Opal has a lifetime of love to give. After being such a wonderful mama, she deserves a family that will cherish her and give her the happy, cozy life she’s been waiting for.
