I do have shiny soft patent leather black fur and I'm a small guy for my age, about a year old! The lady who found me and got me fixed calls me a mini Kitty. I don't take offense! She's very nice and she's trying quite hard to find a forever home for me because she has two older kitties in her home who might not appreciate a newcomer.<br/><br/>What you need to know about me is that I love love love to be petted. I love this better than eating. My lady just started brushing my belly when I roll over and she was amazed that when I reached out to play, my claws were sheathed!! She said,"what a gentle little guy you are"... That's me! Sweet, playful and always looking to be loved.<br/><br/>Could you, would you be the one to take me home to be your forever Kitty. I get along with other cats pretty good since there's a heck of a lot of them in the neighborhood. My lady will make sure I'm in good health before I come to your home. I have been neutered and got my rabies shots. I will have to have a FIV/FeLv test, other shots and dewormed and flea treatment. I'll be all ready for you.<br/><br/>Let my lady know. She has to stop feeding cats outside because rascally old raccoons have been showing up. Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Welcome to the Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter's adoption process. The first step towards adopting one of our special babies is to fill out our simple one page application. We will be in touch within 24 hours after receiving your application. Each one of our cats are tested for leukemia and aids, receive their initial vaccines (distemper), vet check-up as needed, treatment for fleas, worms, parasites, ear mites, and their nails trimmed. If the cat/kitten is old enough they may have more done for them, such as, rabies vaccine and second distemper vaccine. If they are old enough prior to adoption they will be spayed or neutered. If not, you will be given a spay/neuter certificate for one of our local vets we work with. Our business office is located in Seven Valleys (York County, PA). Since we are a non-profit, any donations and adoption fees are a tax-write off for you. At in-tack all our cats spend time in one of our foster homes until they are ready for adoption.
