Onyx Blaze

What my friends at ACC say about me:
I would appreciate slow introductions to new people and places to help me feel safe.
Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!
Onyx Blaze is laying in the back of his cubby, immediately stretching out a paw, meowing softly, and coming forward to greet the assessor at the front of the kennel with head bunts. He allows and leans into all petting and is easily coaxed to the main area of the kennel where he continues to head bunt and lean into petting. He steps out of the kennel and is able to be easily picked up, remaining calm when he is held. He continues to push his way out to exit the kennel throughout the interaction and allows pickup each time, still remaining calm when held. When placed back he continues to chat with the assessor, meowing and allowing all further petting and handling.

Onyx Blaze interacts with the observer, solicits & appreciates attention, is easy to handle and tolerates all petting. This cat is showing behavior appropriate for cat parents with either an average amount of cat experience or demonstrate a basic understanding of typical cat behavior. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 13.7lbs Age: 3yrs 0mths 2wks Animal has been Neutered
