ONYX's Story

Onyx is a very gabby and energetic kitty who has a lot to say and even more enthusiasm for life. He was surrendered to us because he took a bit too much interest in the pet birds and fish in his previous home—clearly, his curiosity knows no bounds!

This high-energy boy needs adopters who can keep up with him. Active play is a must to help meet his physical and mental needs, and he’ ll thrive in a home that enjoys engaging with their cat. Onyx would do best with other non-alpha but playful feline companions who can match his energy without overwhelming him. Cat-respectful dogs should be just fine.

Onyx is a social shadow who will most likely want to be wherever his people are, taking part in the action and chatting about it along the way. If you’ re looking for an interactive, lively companion who will keep you laughing and on your toes, Onyx may be your perfect match. OTHER PETS: Onyx may want a few social kitties to play with. Cat respectful dogs may be OK. OWNER EXPERIENCE: Adopter should be familiar with higher activity level kitties. KIDS: Teens and up would be best suited for this kitty as over-stimulation may be an issue. ACTIVITY LEVEL: Onyx is a very active kitty. No couch potato adopters for him. VETERINARY CARE: Onyx is looking forward to meeting his new vet and receiving on-going regular vet care. LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: We expect Onyx to move pretty easily into his new home. GROOMING: Onyx takes very good care of his handsome tabby oat.
