Onyx's Story

Onyx is a one-year old sweet, social kitty with a heart full of love and a playful spirit! He’s the kind of cat who greets you with a purr and flops over for belly rubs the moment you walk in the room. This friendly boy adores attention and thrives on companionship both from people and from other cats.

Onyx’s favorite activities include chasing wand toys, batting at interactive puzzles, and showing off his impressive play skills. When playtime is over, he’s more than happy to curl up near his humans (or cat buddies!) for some cozy downtime.

Because Onyx doesn’t like to be alone, he’s looking for a home with another playful feline friend to keep him company. If you already have a cat who loves to wrestle and chase, Onyx might just be their perfect new best friend!

When Onyx first comes to his new home, he may need a little time and patience to adjust, he’s still a bit skittish in new environments. But once he feels safe and comfortable, his sweet and affectionate personality truly shines.

While he hasn’t had the opportunity to meet any kids or dogs yet, with slow introductions things could potentially work out. Because he still doesn’t have a skittish side to him, he may do better with kids who are a little older and cat savvy!

If you’re looking for a loving, playful, and loyal companion, Onyx is ready to fill your home with joy, purrs, and endless fun.

Onyx is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is FIV/FeLV negative.

*To apply for Onyx (as long as you have a playful cat or kitten at home) , please visit our website to view our adoption guidelines and fill out our application at catcallsrescue.org/adopt * do

Catcalls Rescue's Adoption Policy
Please thoroughly read the following information about adopting a Catcalls Rescue cat/kitten before applying. Must be 21+ to apply. Fill out the form thoroughly. The more information you provide, the better! Incomplete forms will not be considered. Please do not apply on a whim! Out of consideration for the time and energy of our volunteers, we ask that you apply only when certain that you are ready and able to adopt. We cannot hold cats/kittens for adoption. Kittens do best when they have a friend! Kittens must be adopted in pairs or to homes with existing pets. All current pets in applicants’ homes must be spayed and neutered and up to date on vaccines. Cats in the home must be FIV/FeLV tested. Safety is a priority at Catcalls Rescue, so a virtual or in-person home check will be completed prior to adoption to make sure your furry friend will be safe and comfortable in their new environment! All Catcalls Rescue cats and kittens come with health records and are dewormed, flea treated, vaccinated, spayed or neutered, FIV/FeLV tested, and microchipped. Please note that due to a high volume of applications, you may not receive a response. We will reach out to applicants that are best suited for each feline within one week of receiving their application. **Emails asking us if we have received apps only slows up the process for everyone. We can't respond to those any faster than we can respond to a good application! Please keep that in mind! If you are the best fit for our kitties, you will absolutely hear from us! Thank you!**
