I had no rescue, no hope. My foot was gone, my leg was swollen and infected. I waited… but no one came.<br/><br/>Until I became urgent.??<br/>That’s when a rescue stepped up and took me in immediately. I was rushed to the vet. I needed an amputation — fast.<br/><br/>But when they sedated me for surgery…<br/>SURPRISE: I was pregnant.<br/>FULL TERM.<br/><br/>Surgery had to wait. I was hospitalized so they could monitor me and keep infections away while I had my babies.<br/><br/>I’ve spent so much time in a cage — healing, surviving, grieving. All of my kittens passed, except one who survived name Felix??<br/><br/>I’m 6 years old. I’ve lost a leg, but not my spirit. I get around fine, I’m already spayed, and I’m ready for the only thing I’ve never had:<br/><br/>?? A home.<br/>?? A soft bed.<br/>?? A window to sunbathe in.<br/>?? Back in July, I was on the euthanasia list. I had no rescue, no hope. My foot was gone, my leg was swollen and infected. I waited… but no one came.

Until I became urgent.??
That’s when a rescue stepped up and took me in immediately. I was rushed to the vet. I needed an amputation — fast.

But when they sedated me for surgery…
SURPRISE: I was pregnant.
FULL TERM.

Surgery had to wait. I was hospitalized so they could monitor me and keep infections away while I had my babies.

I’ve spent so much time in a cage — healing, surviving, grieving. All of my kittens passed, except one who survived name Felix??

I’m 6 years old. I’ve lost a leg, but not my spirit. I get around fine, I’m already spayed, and I’m ready for the only thing I’ve never had:
